Meet Mollique, an immigrant from Jamaica who moved to Connecticut at the age of 10. He has a rich background in Higher Education, holding various roles such as Resident Director at UC Santa Barbara, Director of Operations at San Diego State University, and a staff member on the Semester at Sea program, which provides study abroad opportunities for college students. Mollique earned a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Springfield College and a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). As an immigrant, Mollique’s hardworking nature is driven by his desire for financial stability for himself and his family. His strong work ethic stems from his upbringing, where his Jamaican parents instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and selflessness. One of Mollique’s biggest lessons has been to trust the process and to do the right thing—not for immediate results, but because it’s simply the right thing to do. His greatest professional achievement to date is becoming a business owner in just eight months and launching his own marketing firm. Mollique is deeply motivated by his 11-year-old son, who has Down syndrome, and his ultimate goal is to provide the best life possible for him. Beyond his professional life, Mollique has many surprising talents and experiences—he played semi-professional basketball, models, and even appeared on the popular TV show *The Bachelorette*. He’s particularly proud of being a self-taught barber, a pretty good cook, and has a keen eye for fashion, always striving to look his best.
